We have a new series for the fall semester. 4Q’s: Origin, Meaning, Morality, Destiny.
Everyone must deal with them. What about you? Let’s talk about it. Come hear how Christianity responds.
Every Thursday night at 7PM in Fretwell 124, starting tomorrow night (Thursday, Aug. 23rd). Join us before the meetings at 6PM for dinner at Chick-Fil-A.
We had a great turnout today at the booth for Ratio Christi by our student leaders. They did a great job starting conversations and engaging students and getting them interested in apologetics. Many students signed-up and even those that didn't left with something to chew on..... (that's more than just the free candy we gave out). It was a fun day, and the rain held off until the end.
The more I go forward in the apologetic endeavor, the more I realize that as long as the Church consistently keeps making the same mistakes in what they teach and what they don’t teach, I can guarantee that there will always be a perpetual need for apologists. Don’t get me wrong: I know the Church belongs to Jesus. He bought it with his life and He is the Head! And I know the Church does a lot of good things. But when it comes to apologetics, I can guarantee we will only see the need for an increase in apologetic material and teaching for the years to come. Let me expand on this and hopefully provide some helpful tips to overcome some of these problems. . .
