Nick Peters grew up in Corryton, Tennessee just outside of Knoxville. Early on in his life, he was diagnosed as autistic, which later became a diagnosis of Asperger’s. In seeking what to do with his life after high school, Nick went to Johnson Bible College. While there, he came across Christian apologetics. As one who always had an interest in intellectual matters, Nick was immediately hooked and before too long began devouring everything that he could on the topic. After graduation, he even went on to further studies at Southern Evangelical Seminary and is now seeking to advance in his studies.
Nick is a Social Media and Communications Specials with Ratio Christi. He runs the Issues and Answers blog and Rapid Response Team for Ratio Christi. He is a supported missionary with RC raising funds for full time work as an apologist. Additionally, Nick runs the blog of Deeper Waters and has founded his own ministry called Deeper Waters Christian Ministries. He is also an active debater on TheologyWeb.com where he is on staff and has done writing for CARM, the Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry. As of July 24th, 2010, Nick is happily married to his wonderful wife Allie, who is also diagnosed with Asperger’s. Nick’s desire is to bring the life of the mind and the life of the heart together for the church and open up the ministry of apologetics to reach a new generation for Christ.
