Get Prepared: Blogs
There are incredible blogs available on all sorts of apologetics topics, written at all levels from popular to scholarly. We will attempt to categorize some of them here. With smart phones and tablets, it's easy to read these anywhere you go. Waiting rooms, car pool lines, waiting for kids' activities to start, and more. We encourage you to use your time well to teach yourself in order to train your child and others so that we can engage in intelligent faith conversations and transform the world.
Especially for parents:
- Natasha Crain's blog is Christianmomthoughts.com. Her goal is "Inspiration for Intentional Christian Parenting." While she writes on topics other than apologetics, she does tackle apologetics topics a lot. In fact, she has an ongoing series of "65 Apologetics Questions Every Christian Parent Needs to Learn to Answer." Great stuff. Check it out. And look for Natasha to blog on our Boosters Blog page soon as well.
- Beyond Teachable Moments-- Christian Parents Training Up the Next Generation. Authored by a mom after she and her husband brainstormed faith topics they wanted to teach their kids. The result is this blog which includes fun, interactive activities that can be done in under 30 minutes with minimal prep while instilling faith lessons. Check out in particular the posts on trusting the Bible and its authors, scientific evidence for God and critical thinking.
