    Wright State’s Christian apologetics organization Ratio Christi encourages and challenges students to bring their ideas and beliefs to their meetings.

    “A person who is not a Christian should attend Ratio Christi to discover and be exposed to the rationality and substantial reason behind the Christian faith,” vice president of Ratio Christi Jonathon Phillipp said. “That way they can discover that there is reason and rationale, principles and objectivity, behind the Christian faith that establishes its relevancy in the marketplace of worldviews.”

  • William Lane Craig Lectures at Texas A&M

    Christian apologist William Lane Craig defended his faith in a lecture Thursday using The Kalām Cosmological Argument and Christian apologetics.
    The Veritas Forum — in partnership with Ratio Christi and Reformed University Fellowship — invited Craig, a Christian apologist, theologian, and philosopher, to Texas A&M to explain Christianity and the Bible using his philosophical and scientific background while making the claim that God is the cause of all existence.

  • Ratio Christi Hosts Faith Debate at UNCW

    New student organization Ratio Christi held its first official event in Cameron Auditorium Feb.1— a live streaming of the Biola University sponsored debate “Is Faith in God Reasonable?”
    Ratio Christi invited all student organizations on campus to join the event for “stimulating discussion.” Members of UNCW’s Faculty Commons, a division of the Campus Crusade for Christ group, the Student Secular Alliance, and the Humanists & Freethinkers of Cape Fear were all there to watch.

    Most students raised with a public school education are taught to keep science and faith separate, but for students in Ratio Christi, the goal is to bring the two disciplines together.
    Ratio Christi, meaning “the reason of Christ,” is a national group dedicated to establishing philosophical and scientific reasoning for believing in faith, and the Ohio University chapter works to facilitate that message, said Sarah Welch, co-president of the chapter and a sophomore studying music. “What we exist to do is to establish an intellectual voice to Christ,” she said. “Christianity is intellectually robust.” ~ Angelica Oswald, The Post
