< Back to People

Robert (Bob) is a loyal follower of Jesus; husband of 33 years; father of three; 20-year executive at Toyota Motor North America; and committed Christian apologist.

Since receiving his Christian Apologetics education & training in 2013, Bob has led, served and spoken at youth-oriented events in California, Maryland and Tokyo about topics such as “Can Truth Be Known?”, “The Intolerant Tolerance”, “Sanctity of Life”, and others.  Since he recently relocated to North Texas from Japan, his goal is to begin a Ratio Christi Chapter at a local College/University.

As a Business & Marketing professional at Toyota, Bob led and was recognized for several iconic campaigns, such as “Swagger Wagon” (2011 Effie & Clio Awards), which was also awarded by YouTube as a Top 20 Advertisement of the Decade in 2015.  Bob’s advertising department produced the very successful Tundra Endeavor campaign, which earned three Cannes Lions awards in 2013.  Bob also personally led Toyota’s effort to develop and launch Toyota’s USA brand campaign and tagline, “Let’s Go Places.”

Bob loves professional development activities and while at Toyota’s Corporate University, he earned a global CUBIC award for his leadership success.

Bob is well-known for his ability to professionally lead teams and his thoughtful approach to collaboration.  He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration; is a member of the American Marketing Association; and is certified as a Digital Marketer by the AMA

Bob was born into a Christian family and graciously received Christian education through 12th grade.  Even though he experienced justification through Jesus, his heart wasn’t fully aligned with God’s desire for sanctification, and Bob wasn’t actively seeking or proclaiming Jesus in his life.  In the mid 90’s Bob was influenced by Southern California pastors and began to be led by the Spirit to more actively live the life of a follower of Jesus.  Since then, he has applied himself in training, teaching, and leading Christian endeavors, while raising and supporting a family.  With his love for “all things apologetic”, Bob is dedicating most of his time to the Vision and Mission of Ratio Christi and following the Spirit’s leading.

Personal Ministry Vision

Young people that I serve will not be led astray from God’s plan for their eternal life or His purpose for their earthly life, because they will have a defense for their faith.  They will be encouraged to think independently, clearly, and to recognize truth.  They will be equipped to serve believers & unbelievers in the same manner.
