Douglas was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2006. He remains relatively active in volunteer work, including working as an Apologist with Ratio Christi. He enjoys living in Lake of the Woods and is a member Lake of the Woods Church. He also enjoys reading, travel, and cooking. Foremost, Doug loves discussing the truth of the Christian message.
In times like these, when important arguments and debates need to be taken on, Douglas embraces them like a fencing match or chess. He listens, and gets through the questions and defenses of challengers with explanations, brilliant thought-provoking facts, truths, insights and reasonable thought, bringing light to difficult topics. Douglas opens the door for listeners to engage and explore without judgment, for better understanding and thought provoking exchange.
Douglas Jones is very passionate, a great listener, very well versed, with many years of experience in studying the philosophical implications of the biblical Christian message. His search for truth led him through atheism, pantheism, rosicrucianism and agnosticism to the gospel of John, Jesus Christ, and Christianity.
