Julianne Post exemplifies the qualities and values that Legatus Christi seeks to cultivate and recognize. Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of serving alongside her at Louisiana Tech University and witnessing her growth into an exceptional leader.
As one of the founding members of the Louisiana Tech chapter, Julianne played a vital role in establishing the organization on campus. She was instrumental in navigating the university’s requirements for recognition as a student organization and in recruiting students to become involved in the chapter. Her dedication and initiative helped lay a strong foundation for the chapter’s success.
Throughout her time with RC at LaTech, Julianne has grown from a student with a passion for sharing her faith into a confident and capable leader who not only shares and defends the Christian faith effectively but also equips others to do the same. She has organized and led campus outreach efforts, recruited and mentored new members, encouraged fellow students in their apologetics training, and delivered presentations and teachings on a variety of topics.
It has been a joy to watch Julianne develop as a leader and servant of Christ. I am excited to see how the Lord will continue to use her in the years ahead. I can think of no one more deserving of this recognition, and it is my honor to present Julianne Post with the Legatus Christi Award.

When did you come to Christ as Lord and Savior, and how did that come about?
I gave my life to the Lord when I was seven. I’m very thankful to have grown up in a Christian family where my siblings and I were taught that the kingdom of God was the greatest adventure we could ever pursue.
• How did you become interested in apologetics, and how did you get involved with Ratio Christi?
I picked up an apologetics book in high school and have been hooked ever since! I began to read more books and listen to apologists like Frank Turek and Greg Koukl. In my sophomore year of college, a friend of mine told me that a Ratio Christi chapter was about to start on our
campus, and I got involved as soon as I could!
• What impact has the Ratio Christi College Prep ministry had on your walk with God and your personal ministry?
Ratio Christi has impacted me in so many ways! First, it made me more comfortable having conversations with people of different worldviews. Because we had to jump right into those discussions every week at tabling, I had to learn to communicate the things I had only read about before! Now I am much more confident in starting those kinds of conversations, both on and off campus. The officers also made a commitment to spend fifteen minutes daily in prayer, and that’s something I plan to keep in my schedule for a long time.
• What is this RC chapter like?
Our chapter is made up of people who genuinely love to study the things of God! Digging into the Bible, spending time engaging with people who oppose Christianity, and learning constantly seems to be a way of life for many of our members. Seeing their dedication has seriously inspired me to try to serve in new ways, even when it seems daunting.
• What were some of your favorite areas of involvement with your local RCCP chapter?
My favorite thing about our chapter has been the great conversations! When we weren’t talking with people on campus, we dove deep into all manner of theological topics. Some days a group of our members would table for two or three hours, head to a coffee shop and talk theology, have a meeting that evening, and then have a long discussion over supper afterward! Our director Sherwon, his wife Elizabeth, and all of the officers made our chapter a great place for conversation and community.
• What does the Legatus Christi award mean to you?
I was stunned and incredibly honored to receive it! The Legatus Christi award gives me a huge motivation and responsibility to keep finding ways to serve through apologetics. It’s something I will always remember.
• How do you envision taking the apologetics you have learned through Ratio Christi into your future endeavors?
I hope that wherever I go in the future, I will be able to look for opportunities to start the kinds of conversations we have had here. Talking to someone who disagrees with you is a whole lot different from reading a book by someone who agrees with you, and the experience RC has given me in that area will definitely affect my future endeavors. I have also learned so much from the books we read at officers’ meetings!
• What are your short and long-term career/ministry/mission plans?
Because of this RC chapter, I want to do apologetics or campus ministry one day. I am still finishing my undergrad in music and finance, but afterward, I would love to pursue a masters’ in apologetics or something similar. I’ve seen the real impact ministries like RC can have, and I hope to be part of that in some way, whether that is on a campus, at a church, or just meeting with people individually.
• Would you consider coming back to work with your RC chapter, starting one at another school, or working with RC in any other capacity?
I would absolutely love that. That is one reason why I would consider getting a masters’ someday.
• What would you say to other students who might be considering getting involved in Ratio Christi, whether they be skeptics, seekers, or believers?
Don’t hesitate! No matter what your religious background is, Ratio Christi will challenge you to study and grow, defend your beliefs, and pursue truth alongside others. It is beyond worth it.
