Leo Percer grew up near the Mississippi River in Millington, Tennessee. He is currently the Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (LBTS) and the Program Director for the PhD in Theology and Apologetics at LBTS. Having a Ph.D. in Religion with minor in Philosophy from Baylor University as well as an M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and an MA in Humanities from Western Kentucky University, his emphasis is in New Testament Studies and has done research on the Dead Sea Scrolls, Early Christianity, and the Second Temple Period. He has written many academic articles including for the Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics. He enjoys engaging in worldview, apologetics, and evangelism conversations and brings a wealth of practical and academic experience to the RC team. Dr. Percer represents Liberty University on the Ratio Christi Board of Directors. His and his wife Lisa, married in 1994, now reside in Lynchburg, Virginia with their two children.
