Scott Ingram

Technical Support Specialist

Pastor Scott Ingram was called into the ministry in 2006. Little did he know that God would be calling him, not only to a traditional preaching ministry, but also be giving him the opportunity to utilize technology to spread “the gospel to every creature” in ways he never would have imagined. He especially didn’t imagine that God would accomplish this by closing the factory that he worked at for 20 years. With Scott being the only support for his wife and three children, this didn’t seem like a blessing at the time, but God used it to allow him to gain a bachelor’s degree in information technology from King University.

During and after his schooling, the Lord led him to a position at Radio Bible Hour, the ministry of evangelist Dr. J Harold Smith, where he was honored to serve as the Director of New Media for several years and co-host their television series “Today with Christ” with J Harold’s son, Dr. Don Smith.

Scott has served as a bi-vocational pastor for many years. Today, he is the pastor of Omega Baptist Church in White Pine, TN. He produces a television program that airs locally and on YouTube called “Go Ye Into All the World” while working for the City of Gatlinburg.

He is blessed to use the skills that God has provided him with to serve as the Technical Support Specialist for Ratio Christi helping apologists around the world show the reason of Christ and “preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

“And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

Testimony

My Dad was a lay preacher at a small country church, so I have had a connection with Christianity since I was a small child. I was saved during a revival meeting when I was 10 years old. I had been under conviction the night before and asked my dad what I should do. He simply quoted to me Ephesians 2:8-10. The next night I was saved and felt clean all over.

As I entered my teen years, I entered a time of rebellion. God in His grace protected me from myself through this time. He eventually showed me a wonderful grace by bringing the love of my life, Misty, into my life and, after we were married, we found ourselves in the same church where I was saved years before attending another revival.

During this revival, my wife and I both decided that we needed to rededicate our lives to the One who had saved us. As God grew our family, we both felt a stronger and stronger calling to serve the Lord with the gifts He had given us. This led me to begin preaching that same gospel message of Ephesians 2:8-10 that saved me to a world that desperately needs it by answering the call to pastoral ministry at Omega Baptist Church.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10
